Our Curriculum

World Book Day
World Book Day

Our Curriculum is carefully planned alongside the National Curriculum and Early Years Foundation Stage. We use a topic based approach to ensure that the curriculum is exciting, fun and engaging for all our children. In English we use the Read Write Inc Programme to teach phonics, reading and writing. In Maths we use the ‘Mastery’ approach to ensure all children are able to develop their maths skills at a deeper level. Our Reading materials which we use for guided reading as well as home readers include a wealth of engaging and stimulating books from a range of publishers including Collins Big Cats, Rigby Star and Ginn Lighthouse. Please visit our Year group pages to find out more about termly topics being taught.
